For our donors who are 70 years of age or older, you can make a tax-free donation from your IRA directly to the Chicago South Side Birth Center. These Qualified Charitable Distributions count toward your required minimum distribution, but are excluded from taxable income. 

To make a gift:

• Contact your IRA administrator to request that a charitable contribution be transferred to the Chicago South Side Birth Center,

• Instruct your IRA administrator to write your name on the memo line of the check and specify that the gift is an IRA charitable distribution.

Donating appreciated stock or securities provides increased value to the Chicago South Side Birth Center at a decreased cost to you.

If you would kindly observe the following procedure, we will be able to handle your gift in the most efficient and accurate manner for all concerned.

  • Tax Identification Number
